Sikla Framo 80 –

Unistrut is pleased to announce we are a now a proud distributor of Sikla Framo 80 products across the United States. Sikla Framo 80 is a new perforated box section designed to replace structures that have been commonly made up out of welded structural steel with a heavy duty bolted system. The Sikla Framo 80 system is designed handle weight capacities and applications beyond that which have not been possible with the traditional Unistrut Metal Framing System. Sikla’s Framo 80 was designed to support larger bore pipe work, but it has since expanded into Catwalk Supports, Medical Equipment Supports, Cable Tray Supports, and many other applications.

The Framo box section is 3.125” by 3.125” by 0.118” and is stocked in 20’ sections. Sikla Framo 80 comes standard in a hot dipped galvanized finish that is ideal for interior or exterior applications. The Framo 80 system is based off of four main components; the beam, the end socket, the cantilever bracket, and the bolt. The Framo system uses one bolt for all connections. The FLS F 80 Screw cold forms to the beam section making a tolerance free connection that doesn’t require a locking washer or nut inside the beam. The Framo system has a large product range that is continuously growing to handle any connection you might need. Framo 80 is a bolted system based on a multi-function beam profile that can be used in horizontal, vertical, and 3-D support structures in a wide variety of building and industrial applications.


The advantage of the Sikla Framo 80 system over traditional welded secondary steel supports comes from the infinitely versatile nature of the Framo product. The Framo system is a bolted system which allows you to adjust or change in the field to adapt to changing conditions or demands. Unistrut offer’s value added engineering on all Framo 80 products. Framo 80’s cold formed connection allows for pre-fabrication of supports that can be transported and lifted into place without worry of compromising the connections. The standard hot dipped finish will give you a finished product that is ready to be installed off of the shelf.
